On some occasions the lock in the garage door is obsolete but then this goes for any lock in any door. In this instance, we are able to source a suitable alternative or in other cases do a lock conversion which is no problem for our experienced locksmiths.

 

If you have one of the old twist handle, up and over doors, then the simplest way is to replace the complete handle as on these particular types the lock is integral. However, if it is a more modern handle with a euro cylinder fitted, which is a lock like you would see in a UPVC door, then we would just replace the euro cylinder.

 

We can also upgrade the security on your garage door. One example would be for an up and over door we would recommend fitting the Sold Secure garage defender with its protected armoured padlock. However, these are not suitable for every door but we are able to advise on this upon assessement.
